Inside Applications, find the Google Drive app and drag it to the Trash on your Dock, or right-click it and choose Move to Trash. This deletes the app from your system. If your Mac warns that you need to quit the app first, this is easy to do. Click the Google Drive icon on your menu bar, followed by the Settings cog.
